I contain multitudes, said Walt Whitman. I am a photographer, a literary agent, a Buddhist chaplain, a doting uncle and godfather, and many other things.

I have been shooting photographs since childhood, when my father and I built a darkroom in our basement. Although I miss the smell of chemicals and the lovely red light of a darkroom, all my photography is shot and edited digitally now.

The images on this site were shot on a range of cell phones, Canon DSLRs, and a Canon G9 X pocket camera that I almost always carry with me. In this social media era, there’s a risk one is experiencing life only through the viewfinder, but I find that shooting photographs helps me see the world more attentively and experience it more deeply.

Prints of some of my images are available for sale here and you can contact me directly here.
